Acknowledging Sacrifice: A Lughnasadh Ritual

The Misty Mountain cUUps invite you to celebrate Lughnasadh, the First Harvest, on Sunday, August 4th, at 4PM in the Fellowship Hall. This sabbat honors the grain harvest, the fruits of labor, and the turning of the Wheel toward autumn.

Join us for a ritual of gratitude, offering thanks for the early bounty of the season and reflecting on what we are cultivating in our own lives. We'll weave intentions into a shared harvest blessing and acknowledge both the work behind growth and the joys of its rewards.

In the spirit of abundance, please bring a dish to share for our potluck dinner following the ritual, especially something inspired by the harvest: grain-based dishes, garden vegetables, stone fruits, homemade breads, or anything that celebrates the season’s plenty. (Please label allergens.)

We look forward to breaking bread together and honoring the first fruits of the harvest in community and joy.
