Get ready for another exciting Day of Brass as the UWA Conservatorium welcomes back this much-loved event!
Enjoy a jam-packed afternoon of performances, workshops, and masterclasses led by some of WA’s leading brass performers and educators, including Alan Lourens (lower brass), Wendy Tait (horn), and more!
With dedicated beginner, intermediate, and advanced streams, the Day of Brass is open to everyone — whether you're studying Trombone at university, just starting out on Tenor horn at school, or have been playing trumpet in your local brass band for decades.
The emphasis is on playing and having fun. You’ll develop your technique and tone in instrument-specific sessions, pick up smart practice strategies, and learn how to take care of your instrument. You’ll also join ensemble rehearsals throughout the day, before coming together for a fun group performance for family and friends.
Cost: Participants $10 | Observer $5 (includes BBQ)
