Join LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes for our summer book club as we read Kelly Lytle Hernandez’s City of Inmates: Conquest, Rebellion, and the Rise of Human Caging in Los Angeles, 1771 – 1965. We invite members of our community to join us as we read and engage in conversation centered on Hernandez’s vital book on the history of incarceration in Los Angeles. Book club will take place in our 4th floor conference room (*exception marked below). Guests will have to RSVP. We will cap at 15 community members outside of LA Plaza staff.
