Edgar Cayce never called himself a medium. However, many psychic readings he conducted during his lifetime describe mediumistic phenomena. His view on psychic communication will be explored with explanations of physical and mental mediumship. Cayce’s psychic skills will be examined along with the similarities and differences between Spiritualist and Cayce philosophies. Cayce believed we all have psychic abilities. The readings provide insight into how individuals can enhance their psychic skills. Exercises based on his work will be presented along with tips for development. The class will be a combination of presentation and participation.
Dr. Susan B. Barnes, CSNU, is a Spiritualist National Union certificate holder. She is an international medium and award-winning author of 11 books, including “Visual Spirituality” and “Unfolding Physical Mediumship.” Her artwork has been exhibited in the United States and Europe. Susan teaches mediumship and spirit art classes for the Afterlife Research and Education Organization and the Lily Dale Assembly. She has successfully completed programs at Edgar Cayce’s ARE and participates in their Speakers Program.
