Sunday Funday Concert: The Washington Balalaika Society

Enjoy the music of the The Washington Balalaika Society, a community orchestra of musicians who perform the music of Eastern Europe, Ukraine, Russia, and other countries on traditional folk instruments. It is the largest orchestra of its kind in America, and has been performing in the Greater Washington, D.C. area for more than 35 years. The Washington Balalaika Society continues to support the Ukrainian people and has provided humanitarian support for Ukrainian refugees displaced by the war in Ukraine.
