Board Gaming 101: Action Timer Games (Fuse)

Component's Board Gaming 101 sessions are intentionally designed to be friendly, relaxed, and approachable ways of learning new board games and board game mechanics. Gamers of all levels are welcome and encouraged to join, but those new to the hobby can be assured of a welcoming and nonjudgmental experience as you learn the lay of the land.
Our next session will focus on "action timer" games, a mechanic where players must race against real time to complete their objective.
In Fuse, players work cooperatively to defuse a bunch of bombs before they go off... which will happen in TEN minutes! The game involves fast dice rolling, faster thinking, and good inter-team communication. It is also insanely fun and addicting.
Once we go over the rules, games, by design, take exactly 10 minutes to play. I will have a few copies set up to play, as well as Component's entire game library at your fingertips. ALL who game (i.e., with me or separately) will reap the reward of $1 off all taps and be entered to win a copy to take home.
