Sawmill Creek Convention Center

Journey to the heart of Italy through music! Acclaimed tenor Jonathan Kaufman and the FSO Chorale lend their voices to this program of Italian-inspired works, transporting audiences with the romance of opera and the drama of classical masterpieces. In addition to well-known melodies such as O Sole Mio, Come Back to Sorrento, and famous arias, we explore Italy’s great musical influence with Tchaikovsky’s Capriccio Italienne and Mendelssohn’s Saltarello from his Fourth Symphony, “Italian”. Whether soaring arias or lush orchestral textures, this concert celebrates the passion of Italian culture.
