Ashford's hottest vegan social event, Plants & Pints, is back for a July sizzler 🔥
This month, our guest will be DOUG MAW (@vegangelical_). Doug's first job was in a slaughterhouse, but he's come a long way since then. He's an educator, an activist, and a liberator. Now in his 30th year as a vegan, Doug is at the forefront of the National Anti-Snaring Campaign, and somehow still finds time to go out with his local hunt sab group! Recently, Doug was involved in the gas chamber occupation with Joey Carbstrong at the Cranswick slaughterhouse, and is currently awaiting trial.
As usual our social event is completely free of charge, but if you wish to order food we have an amazing 100% vegan menu available. Please mark yourself as 'going' if you're intending to come along, as it helps us to plan (you'll be contacted before the event for your food pre-order). Although the social is an evening event, the vegan menu will be available from midday.
Children are also welcome to attend, with no curfew time, and there will be some kid-friendly menu options.
