Run/Walk fundraiser for Orchard Beach State Park!

The Manistee Run Club is hosting a Run/Walk fundraiser towards purchasing a Trackchair for Orchard Beach State Park on Thursday, August 14th at 6pm*! What is a Trackchair? It is an all-terrain wheelchair which would allow a park visitor with mobility issues to access our walking trails. The controls are easy to use and the chair could also be controlled by a companion or caregiver walking along the side of the chair!

The Manistee Run Club event is open to all, please use the link below to sign up! It will be a 5K Fun Run/Walk starting and ending at the historic Orchard Beach State Park historic pavilion. It will cross the street and do a loop on the trail, then back to the park and a loop around the campground. Beverages and snacks will be provided to participants after the run in the pavilion.
Cost will be a donation of $15 per participant or $30 per family! All proceeds will be donated to Orchard Beach State Park towards the cost of a Trackchair and will make our park more accessible!
