ARAS Community Growing Patch is a vibrant community garden space where people come together to grow vegetables, fruits, and flowers while learning from one another through weekly workshops and hands-on experiences. Regular programs include Saturday learning sessions and our Lil Wigglers “mom and me” garden group on Wednesdays.
During Alberta Open Farm Days, we’ll offer:
-U-dig vegetables for sale (including beets and more)
-Guided tours of our seasonal projects like the lasagna garden, potatoes in straw, and Three Sisters planting
-Local vendors, community demos, and
-The Strathcona County Bookmobile with family-friendly activities
It’s a welcoming, interactive day for all ages — come see what we’ve been growing together!
