July Plant-Based Potluck (North) in Somerville

Once again in July, we'll be hosting two vegan picnic potlucks per month! On the 1st Saturday south of the Charles (in Boston/Brookline area), and on the 3rd Saturday north of the Charles (in Somerville/Cambridge/Medford area).
On July 19th, join us for a vegan picnic potluck outside at Lincoln Park/Argenziano Field in Somerville. Come to build community, make connections, and share some delicious cruelty-free food! Non-vegans welcome and encouraged! Please just bring a vegan dish, snack, or drink if you can.
This one has a different location, since there will also be a free community concert from 1-5 pm of activist brass bands, as a little teaser for HONK! Festival. We'll set up a moderate distance from the live music, so it won't drown out conversation, and you can check out the vibes if you'd like! I've considered this location in the past, but with the concert, it felt like the perfect opportunity. Definitely make sure to bring your own water bottle, and if you can bring your own cutlery/plate, that's appreciated too, to keep this event as zero-waste as possible! Bringing an extra picnic blanket could also help.
