Central Virginia Farm Day

Last year, we switched from a farm tour to a farm day at Appomattox Farmer's Market and it was a big success, so we're doing it again! Come out to meet the farmers that supply local produce, flowers, meat, honey, baked goods, cheese, and artisan items and more. Of course, everything is available for purchase, and you'll be supporting your community by buying local. A cooking demonstration on home canning will be at 10:00 under the pavilion. There will be a farm equipment display and a kid's area with a corn pit, no kick cow, seed pods, edible soil cups, and an animal visiting area. REL Soil and Water Conservation will be bringing the Underground Classroom for you to explore! Happy Waffle food truck will be on site! Best of all, it's free!
