Kids greatly benefit from time to play freely in nature and our Free Play Fridays are just that! These events are child-led and might result in a walk, tree climbing, water play, or any number of other exciting activities.
Location: Chickamauga Battlefield (3370 Lafayette Rd, Fort Oglethorpe, GA 30742)
Time: 2:00 pm eastern
Requirements: ALL attendees MUST have a 2025 waiver on file. Forms for minors are to be completed by a legal guardian.

We will meet at the wooden bridge in the field next to the visitor's center. The best places to park are in the lower parking lot next to the visitor's center or the gravel lot across the field.
Please make sure everyone in your group is dressed in weather appropriate clothing. Water play and mud are very possible so bringing an extra pair of clothes for kids is advised. It's also a good idea to bring water and some snacks.
All guardians must remain with and are responsible for their own children at all times. By attending this event, you accept all possible risks and acknowledge that facilitators and other members are not liable for any damages including but not limited to injuries, illnesses, lost or damaged property, etc.
