WWI Howitzer Rededication Ceremony

Residents are invited to attend the rededication of a 1918 World War I Howitzer which was captured from the Germans and obtained in 1932 by Pittsford’s Rayson-Miller American Legion Post 899. It has recently been restored to museum quality and will be located in front of the Veterans Memorial in the Town park 22 N Main St., across the street from the Pittsford Village Hall. A brief ceremony will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 24. A reception will be held following the ceremony.
