Advanced Techniques - planning and painting your masterpiece

This is it - the workshop you have all been asking me for! We will spend the day building a project from the ground up, starting with composition, planning the lighting, following the lighting plan, techniques for building volumes and highlighting, creating definition, highlighting with textures and incorporating a non-metallic metal approach into the project. There will a total of six hours of instruction, demos and individual practice broken into three distinct blocks, with a one hour break for lunch from 12-1. All materials needed for the class will be provided including the figure, palettes, brushes, paints etc. At the end of the class you keep the figure! You are encouraged to bring your own brushes and any other materials you like to work with to the class. Space is limited so message me to secure your seat if you intend to participate. Workshop cost is $60+HST. Not sure if this class is for you? Message me and I will help you decide. You should be able to smoothly base coat your model, have some practice with basic blending, layer and highlighting techniques, and some experience painting fine details like eyes, freehand patterns and textures.
