Each year this one-act play festival attracts some of the country’s most talented new playwrights. We bring four of the best new one-act plays to you, all in one night! And YOU vote for the winner of the festival!
2025 Plays:
Bridesmaids Anonymous by Jay Huling (Jacksonville, FL)
Directed by Sarah Ann Celec
Four close friends gather for Meshella's bachelorette party. Meshella is about to marry the man of her dreams. A surprise guest to the party brings more than anyone bargained for.

An Evening at the U-Drop Inn by William R. Boersma (Skokie, IL)
Directed by Joey Thorne
A salesman checks into a run-down motel seeking nothing more than a decent night’s sleep. He can't seem to escape the conversation with the bored out of her mind receptionist when the FBI arrives.

Madam Zorba by Hugh Mackay (Jamaica Plain, MA)
Directed by Charlie Perkins
Jeff and Jonathan are at their wits end with the ghosts haunting their apartment. Madame Zorba arrives for a cleansing ritual. Some ghosts are not as easy to get rid of.

Salon 911 by Steven Miller (Duluth, GA)
Directed by Val Phillips
Two women share experiences of hair-raising tales and their own personal stories from a call center for hair emergencies.
