QCABHA Open Show at Mississippi Valley Fair

Now it’s time to look forward to and get ready for the August 3rd show during the Mississippi Valley Fair. Start planning for the show, carnival food and rides. Pre-registration needs to be completed by Tuesday, July 22 at 5pm. Details are included on the show bill and/or the Mississippi Valley fair website. The entry form is under the Horses section on the fair website at https://mvfair.com/competition/ Also, current health papers (within 30 days of the show) are required.
On July 23 and beginning at 5pm, Dr. Doug Anderson is offering to conduct health paper examinations at the fairgrounds. Dr. Doug is providing the service for $5 for a youth’s horse and $10 for an adult’s horse.
This is in conjunction with the last of the weekly Wednesday night 4-H and FFA 5:30-8 PM practice dates at the fairgrounds. Thanks to Scott County 4-H Horse Superintendent Cindy Meldrum, Scott County Extension, the fairgrounds and Dr. Doug Anderson.
