Fluorescent Bulb & Ballest Recycling

Fluorescent bulb recycling will be held in the Tractor Supply parking lot on Thursday, May 1st & October 2, 2025, from 9 am-1 pm. in the Tractor Supply Parking Lot.

This recycling event serves the residents and businesses of Martin and Faribault Counties.

❖It is against the law to dispose of fluorescent bulbs and ballasts with the regular garbage.

❖NO PREREGISTRATION NEEDED
❖There is a charge for disposal of bulbs and ballasts.
❖Charges must be paid on the day of the event. No billing.
❖Fluorescent lamps contain mercury and are considered a hazardous waste product.
❖When transporting the lamps, be careful not to break them.

Prices:
Straight Fluorescent Lamps 4’ and under $ .75
Over 4’ $1.00
High Intensity Discharge Lamps (HID) $5.00
