We're looking forward to our return on Wednesday, August 6th at 5pm, where we'll be screening Alfred Hitchcock's "The Lodger," starring Ivor Novello. We're also excited to welcome back film scholar Professor Fred Guida of Quinnipiac University, who will lead a Q&A session following the movie! FREE pizza will be served to all movie-goers, and registration is required to attend: to RSVP, please email Cynthia, Community Services Librarian, at Y2d3aWF6ZGEgfCBoYWdhbWFubGlicmFyeSAhIG9yZw==.

In "The Lodger," a serial killer known as "The Avenger" is on the loose in London, murdering blonde women. A mysterious man arrives at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bunting looking for a room to rent. The Buntings' daughter is a blonde model who is seeing one of the detectives assigned to the case. The detective becomes jealous of the lodger and begins to suspect that he might be the avenger. Is his hunch correct? Join us and find out!
