Carthage Masonic Lodge #181 is hosting the 7TH Annual “Service Before Self” event to honor our Military Service Members, Veterans, Law Enforcement, Fire Fighters and Emergency Medical Technicians for their selfless service to our communities on 27 September 2025 at Home at Last Farms, 527 Red Hill Road, Cameron NC.
We are doing the same this year and many of our previous donors have agreed to continue to sponsor our event. In addition to the event, we are incorporating our 2nd Annual BBQ Cook-off. We will have BBQ teams throughout the state competing in this event. We hope that this will increase attendance and also provide us public awareness. This was a great event last year and we had 8 teams that competed.
We are asking for donations and sponsorships to support this great cause. Funds that we are able to raise go to pay for food, entertainment and other related expenses. After expenses are paid, all remaining funds will be dispersed to our local Adult and Teen Challenge of Sandhills organization and the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford. Two great charity organizations that do great things for children.
