Join us for an evening full of knowledge with Amerie Rose.
Amerie is a being who is tricky to put in a box. Sheβs a Fool, a Musician and a Natural Phenomenon. She describes herself as a Social Conductor, a Transformative Activist and a Cultural Architect. Using a variety of tools and surrounded by the more-than-human, she has supported hundreds of people in co-creating empowering experiences and embracing necessary change.
Her latest manifestation is The Folk Preservation Society, based in Teignmouth. This event is an invitation to walk through a new door, and back to the old ways. Expect connection, creativity, and a touch of the unexpected as we explore how tradition and transformation can meet in community.
Come as you are. Leave a little different.
The talk will start at 7pm sharp. The door will be open from 18:45. If possible, please make sure to arrive on time so you don't miss a single thing.
Please bring your own hot beverage, should you require one; water is provided.
Donations are welcome to cover the cost of the hall rental.
