*This webinar will take place on Zoom at 7pm PT on Monday July 14. After registering, you will receive a webinar link via email.*

Join Wildsight Conservation Specialist Eddie Petryshen and Wildsight Revelstoke’s Reanne Harvey for this webinar, where we’ll learn about the old growth logging still occurring north of Revelstoke — and explore what it means for some of the region’s last remaining caribou.

The Columbia North caribou herd is the last herd near Revelstoke considered to have a shot at a long-term future. But its survival depends on the protection of the old, ancient and mature forests that these beautiful and unique creatures need for food and shelter.

In this webinar, Eddie will share stories of what he witnessed during his mid-June field trip into the Columbia North caribou herd’s core habitat. We’ll then discuss the possible futures that await this herd based on recent mapping and analysis, and what we can do to protect them.
