"A raffish, good humored ballad with Butch and Sundance as a pair of lovable rogues, a Bonnie and Clyde to a ragtime beat."—Bernard Drew, Gannett News Service

"Note-perfect performances, a screenplay steeped in both nostalgia and a timely sense of insight, and anti-heroes you can't help but love."—Bob McCabe, Empire Magazine

"It's lighthearted and likeable, a cool, 1960s spin on a genre that at the time had become a little tired."—Wendy Ide, Times (UK)

Based on a true story, this revisionist Western is a remarkable tale of friendship between Butch, possibly the most likeable outlaw in frontier history, and his closest associate, the fabled and ever-dangerous Sundance Kid. Amongst fast-draws and wild rides, battles with posses and a torrid love affair, a train robbery goes wrong and the duo finds themselves on the run.
