Join us for Discovery Cinema, a Saturday afternoon matinee series for families. This August, we’re screening a series of international films that highlight the stories and perspectives of filmmakers from around the world. These films showcase a love of movie magic, the importance of community, and the power of hope and triumph!

This story features Kyuta, a boy living in Shibuya, and Kumatetsu, a lonesome beast from Jutengai, an imaginary world. When Kyuta forays into the imaginary world and meets Kumatetsu, many adventures ensue.

Film tickets are $10 at the front desk; free admission for members and youth under 18. Seating is first come, first served. Talks, tours and other events are admission by donation or free with membership.
