Wildlife Center of VA - Meet Animal Ambassadors

From the Wildlife Center website: "Founded in 1982, the Wildlife Center of Virginia is an internationally recognized teaching hospital for wildlife medicine and clinical research. Since its founding, the Center has treated more than 100,000 wild animal patients representing more than 200 species native to the Commonwealth of Virginia. The lessons learned from these wild animal patients have produced advances in veterinary science, improvements in conservation policy, and increased public understanding of better ways to share the world with our wild neighbors."
The Wildlife Center will bring non-releasable wildlife ambassadors for us to meet, discuss native species and we will learn how nature adds color to our world!
Afterwards, if anyone is interested, we can go up the road to Nathan's for an ice cream treat! Each family will pay for themselves.
Meeting Place: Central Community Library in the Community Room.
