We're teaming up with Goodwill, Healthy Homes, Home Repair Services, and Kent County for a community event packed with age-friendly activities and valuable resources!

What's Happening:
♻️ Drop off your clothing donations at the on-site Goodwill trailer
🏡 Learn from Home Repair Services about energy-efficient furnaces, water heaters, and access ramps made from recycled shopping bags – they might even do a live demo on repurposing scrap wood!
🌬 Healthy Homes will share info on their air filter replacement program
🥕 Kent County will provide updates on the City's Food Scrap partnership

🎁 Giveaways Include:
Free trash pick-up and bulk item tags
Free yard waste cart
Pavilion shelters provided by Parks
Tabletop composters

The timeline:

📍 Doors open at 4:30 p.m. at Gerald R. Ford Academic Center

📍 Enjoy a delicious FREE dinner at 4:45 p.m. provided by Eastern Deli.

📍 The engagement activities start at 5:30 p.m.

📍 At 7 p.m. round the night out with a full Commission Meeting.
