Bruny Island Environment Network Presents:
40+ Years of gull observations on Bruny Island.
Dr Eric Woehler (OAM) Is a seabird and shorebird ecologist based in Hobart, Tasmania. He's been actively involved in research directed towards conservation and management of birds and their habitats. As well as community-based efforts to protect coastal birds, using analyses of long-term data sets to provide evidence-based, data-driven guidance and advice to land managers.

Dr Sally Bryant (AM) - Chair Forty-spotted pardalote recovery team.
Sally is a woodland bird specialist who has been working with communities and experts to save the iconic 40-spotted pardalote from extinction. She'll present work that is seeking to automate detection of this quiet, cryptic bird.
