This unique 5-day course (3 hours each session) is the most popular workshop of the eight offered by Key Habits. What makes this one special is that it stands alone and provides participants with a clear and personal direction in all crucial areas of life.
In a survey among former participants, this was the workshop people most wanted to recommend to friends and family who aren’t ready for a longer training.
All proceeds go directly to support Athena’s youth programs in Efra-Breiðholt (111 Reykjavík).

Course Overview:
Day 1 (June 30, 18:00–21:00): Introduction to the Key Habits Philosophy – "Two Dimensions of Personal Development"
An introduction to how Key Habits training is structured. Participants gain insight into the importance of balance in life, how blind spots form, why good advice is often missing from high performers, and how to overcome resistance to further development.
We’ll explore how skills can evolve from professional competence into becoming an unforgettable servant leader.
Day 2 (July 1, 18:00–21:00): Norms as the Foundation for Value Judgments – "The Four Lenses"
Introduction of the four "lenses" that shape how we see the world and how they affect us. Participants will learn the importance of withholding judgment and making objective assessments before forming opinions.
Practical exercises will strengthen this skill.
Day 3 (July 2, 18:00–21:00): Value Assessment as Preparation for Personal Strategy Statement
We take a closer look at the norms introduced earlier to discover what is genuinely right and desirable for each individual.
The value systems of individuals, groups, and society are examined in relation to behavior.
Participants learn to become their own best advisors and critics, and how to identify, refine, validate, revise, and define their personal values.
Day 4 (July 3, 18:00–21:00): Creating a Personal Strategy Statement
A personal strategy statement is an honest contract that an individual makes with themselves.
For many, this is the key discovery of the course—often the first contract they've ever made with themselves.
We discuss how having a clear strategy can support people and save energy in future communication and negotiations.
Day 5 (Several Dates After Mid-August): Follow-up Session
After six weeks, participants are invited back to meet with instructors to discuss how the work has evolved and how things are going.
Several dates will be offered, and participants can choose which one suits them best.
Who Is This Course For?
Although Key Habits is popular among executives and leaders, the course is open to anyone wanting to grow in their work, prepare for leadership roles, or strengthen their personal life.
Surveys show that the course has been especially impactful for parents—85% say it empowered them in their parenting role.
