The Boynton Beach Police Department and Boynton Beach Fire Rescue, in partnership with WPBF News Channel 25, invite the community to a Public Safety Hurricane Ready Workshop beginning at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 23 in the BBPD Community Room.
This free event will provide vital information to help you prepare for the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season. Hear directly from a WPBF First Warning Weather Meteorologist Glenn Glazer, who will share expert insights and forecasts for the season ahead.
The following city departments will also be on hand to answer questions and explain how they work together to keep our community safe before, during, and after a storm:
• BBPD Traffic Unit & Emergency Field Force Team
• BBFR Emergency Manager & Division of Fire and Life Safety
• Public Works Solid Waste & Beautification and Streets Division
• Utilities Stormwater Team
• City's Certified Floodplain Managers & more.
