For generations of Springfield residents, the name Parkview High School evokes a flood of memories. More than just a building on West Meadowmere Street, it’s a shared touchstone where lifelong friendships were forged and futures began. Join us for a special alumni tour as we revisit the traditions that have defined the Viking spirit for decades.

The story of Parkview began in 1956, with the first graduating class of 1957 laying the foundation for our most beloved traditions. The iconic green and gold and the proud Viking mascot have remained constants, uniting alumni across the years.

Who could forget the thundering applause in the gymnasium? For many, the pinnacle of Viking pride remains the legendary 1965 "Jolly Green Giants" and their state basketball championship. Their story of determination is a narrative that has inspired countless Parkview athletes. Come relive these memories and see how the Viking legacy continues.
