Nocturnal Nature

Whooo is out there? As Raymond B. Winter State Park slows down for humans during the night, many animals are just emerging from their daytime slumbers for a night full of activites. Join the park educator to learn about some of the nocturnal animals living at the park that you may hear or see while camping!

We will be meeting at the amphitheatre across from the playfield and campground. We will be sitting outside, so feel free to bring insect repellent, water, or a snack. In case of inclement weather, this program will be moved in to the Environmental Learning Center.

If you need an accommodation to participate in park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit. With at least seven days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for programs. For program questions or accommodations, contact the park educator at cmViaGFybmVyIHwgcGEgISBnb3Y= or 570-966-1455.
