Join us for the Perseids this August 9th, they peak between 11th to 13th, but those are weekday nights and most people won't be free, so, join us for a Saturday night / Sunday morning of chilling out and watching the most wonderful free display of natural "fireworks" your eyeballs can see, "A Meteor Shower" - all you need, is your eyeballs and a blanket or folding chair if you're so inclined, and a mug of hot chocolate or something warm to drink.
This location is usually really good for them as its by the coast and along the river, kind of shielded from lots of bad artificial light, and if you bring your camera, the Tower is in the background making for a good landscape for anyone trying to image them.
Leading up to peak nights, you can get anywhere from 80 to 100 meteors every hour, so it's quite the show.
Last year weather knocked this on its head, let's hope that we get something better this year... fingers crossed and clear skies peeps :D
