OBOE AND ORGAN CONCERT
Niels Henrik Jessen (Organ/Piano) and Christoph Neuerberg (Oboe)
We are delighted to welcome Niels and Christoph to the Abbey on Sunday 20 July as part of their summer tour of Scotland. Christoph was educated in Hamburg and since 1999 has been Assistant Principal Oboe/Cor Anglais at Aachen Symphony Orchestra. Niels was organist of Kastrup Church near Copenhagen till the end of 2023. He has played organ concerts throughout Europe and as a Duo they have been performing together for 15 years. The programme will be a mixture of English and Danish music, featuring the music of Buxtehude, Händel, Hartmann, Rubbra, Raasted, Carl Nielsen and Peter Hope.
