The Barstool Prophets are an eclectic and diverse country music band that originated in South Dakota around the end of 2015. Formed by five musicians aiming to create a unique country sound in the Midwest, they draw influences from Red Dirt music and other "left of the dial" sounds. Their passionate and electric live performances resonate with fans of rock, blues, and jam music, as well as country enthusiasts. The band is known for mixing original compositions with covers from artists like Hayes Carll, Turnpike Troubadours, Waylon and Shooter, and Charlie Daniels.
