Kodokan Judo Demonstration: A Japanese Cultural Exchange Program

Kodokan judo (θ¬ι逨ζι) is a martial art, form of combat, and Olympic sport. Created in Japan in 1882 by Jigoro Kano (εη΄ζ²»δΊι), judo β which literally means "gentle way" β is the competitive art of subduing an opponent. Judo has inspired many offshoot forms of martial arts, including sambo and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Enjoy and learn as Racine Youth Sports demonstrates this decades-old craft.
