Oratia Bowling Club 2025 AGM

The Oratia Bowling Club will hold its AGM on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 3pm.

The club also extends a warm welcome to friends and family to join us for a light supper and club championships prizegiving with the bar open and a live band playing into the evening.

All current financial members – Full Members, First Year Members and Limited Playing Members – are invited to attend and are able to vote at the AGM to be held at the Oratia Bowling Club.

Applications for elected positions, proposed motions, and any other items of business must be submitted in writing by July 18, 2025 to the Club Secretary – b3JhdGlhYmNzZWNyZXRhcnkgfCBnbWFpbCAhIGNvbQ== – or c/o Oratia Bowling Club, 515 West Coast Road, Oratia, Auckland 0604.

Under our Constitution, the Club shall have a Board of up to 11 persons, and shall consist of the following:
a President;
a Vice President;
a Secretary;
a Treasurer; and
up to seven other persons (including any persons co-opted to serve on the Board in accordance with the Constitution).

All applications for positions on the Board shall be made in writing to the Club Secretary and signed by the applicant.

They must indicate the position for which the applicant is seeking election (i.e. as a board member or as a specific officer) and include the applicant’s contact details and full postal address. Also, a declaration that the applicant is eligible under the incorporated society rules and disclosure of any affiliation or conflict with any other club or position.

All notices of motion must also be signed by the submitter. There will be no votes accepted by proxy.

An Agenda for the AGM – including applications for elected positions, proposed motions, and any other items of business – will be sent to members at least seven days prior to the AGM.
