Learn about Tri-Valley Opportunity Council programs: a Senior Social SPECIAL EVENT

Join us for a Senior Social Special Event with Alicia Berhow, Senior Programs Manager at Tri-Valley Opportunity Council. Learn about Tri-Valley's Foster Grandparent Program, in which seniors go into schools and daycares to help kids with reading, math, spelling, staying on task, or even just being a calm presence while maintaining an intergenerational connection. Other topics will include Tri-Valley's new Dementia Awareness program, which provides community education on dementia and Alzheimer’s, and the peer-to-peer support system that pairs individuals going through the same things to share resources, ideas and support, while easing feelings of isolation.
