Join Us for the Watermelon Crawl!
Help us make this year’s Watermelon Crawl the biggest and best yet! Every summer, we gather volunteers to harvest watermelons grown by the Alliance. These melons are then donated and distributed through Arkansas' charitable food network.
What to Expect
Most of the day will be spent out in the field. Come prepared for summer heat!
We’ll have:
• Shaded tents, fans, & picnic tables
• Plenty of cold drinking water
Follow heat advisories and dress appropriately!
After the harvest, stick around for some classic summer fun:
• Seed spitting contest
• Watermelon bowling
• Cornhole and more!
Food & Refreshments
• Lunch, drinks, and—of course—fresh watermelon will be provided for all volunteers.
