Garlic Braiding Workshop

Create your own decorative garlic braid while learning about growing, harvesting, and preserving garlic. Includes hands-on instruction, farm-grown garlic, and refreshments. Held August 3, 1–5 PM. Leave with a unique braid (12–15 bulbs) and the skills to make more.

We grow lots of garlic- it is one of our main staples. To preserve the harvest and create a beautiful decor for your home, you can learn how to braid your own garlic.

This workshop will be held at the farm on Sunday August 3rd, 2025 from 1 pm to 5 pm.

In this event you will:
-Harvest your own flowers and herbs to add to your garlic braid.
-Learn about different types of garlic and how we grow it
-Learn how to braid garlic
-Take home one of your own unique garlic braids
-Socialize with friends and meet new friends
-Enjoy farm refreshments like agua fresca and baked goods
