July's theme is “Corn.” Bring a ready-to-eat sampling of your favorite “corny” creation and a copy of the recipe to share.
Taste This!:
New this month, one of our members will bring an oddity (or food not in the mainstream) that we can taste. This month is Edamame.
The great debate:
Vinegars. Blind “taste-testing” of different vinegars this month.
We'll sample the dishes, share recipes, chat, and connect over food.
For adults, ages 18 and older.
*We won't be cooking at the library, so please bring your dish already prepared and at temperature as we have limited electrical resources.
Disclaimers - This is a potluck style event where the food is donated and shared – it is not from a licensed kitchen. Perry Cook Memorial Public Library (PCML) cannot guarantee the quality, safety, or allergen status of any food served as part of this program. We cannot guarantee that food has not come into contact with tree nuts, soy, or other allergens. All cooks are encouraged to bring a copy of the recipe so we can be aware of allergens, however it is up to you to be aware of both your dietary allergies and what you are consuming.
