Silent Book Club

The library hosts a Silent Book Club on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Bring your book (or knitting! or pen and notebook!) and curl up in a cozy nook on Mesa Public Library's upper level rotunda. We won't have our phones ringing, there will be no demands on our time, it's a space and time for us to enjoy the silence.

How it works:

Arrive in advance to find a comfy seat, turn off your notifications, and settle in.

At 6:30pm we begin the silence.

Enjoy!

At 7:30pm, we welcome quiet conversation.

Read any book at all--or do another quiet activity like knitting or crochet, drawing or coloring, or staring at the ceiling. Then, when discussion begins, we can say hello to those who have joined, discuss what we are reading, or share stories. There's no pressure to participate, and no requirements of anyone, simply come and enjoy the quiet company of others!
