Announcing our upcoming 2025 TDH Clinic - "Working Cattle with Heather Kornemann” - September 27 & 28 at McIver Arena in Truckee! Interested in learning the best way to introduce your horse to cattle? Already have experience on cows but want to take your skills to the next level?

JOIN US for a weekend working cattle with life-long cowboy, BTMM instructor, and Californio Vaquero Horsemanship Expert – Heather Kornemann! The focus during this clinic will be learning to quiet & ground yourself around cattle to stabilize and support your horse; handling stock in a quiet and controlled manor develops skill and confidence. If you and/or your horse are brand new to cattle, then Heather will use techniques to promote healthy emotional regulation to ensure safety. If you are coming to build on & refine existing cattle skills, then we will work to customize a format to meet you where you & your horse are, and give you the tools to level up.

NOTE: current 2025 TDH members have priority registration through July 14th. Space is limited - check your email (sent June 30, 2025)!

The clinic cost is $400 per horse/rider to participate in the two-day clinic (Sat. Sept. 27 and Sun. Sept. 28, 2025) at McIver Arena, Truckee. There is an option (not required) to add a ~one hour private lesson with Heather on Friday 9/26/2025 for an additional $150. Friday 1:1 sessions can focus on Balance Through Movement Method (BTMM) techniques, equine nerve release work, horse/rider ground work, or ridden work in any disciple (but will not include cattle).
