Join Shaver’s Creek staff Alexa Sarussi for a free, in-person morning of nature journaling at Spring Creek Park!
This month we’ll meet at Spring Creek Park, where our options for journaling subjects will range from the creek or the covered bridge to fellow park visitors climbing on the playground. There are pavilions and the creek as refuge from the July heat, as well as short trails that amble along the creek and playing fields to explore. Plan to meet at the parking lot closest to the tennis courts.
All ages, families, and individuals are welcome. We encourage parents to bring children who express genuine interest in nature drawing, but ask that they monitor their behavior. Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult participant.
