Join the Birding Club of Delaware County (BCDC) as we board the Osprey boat and enjoy a special 2 1/2-hour birding trip departing from Cape May. We will explore Cape May harbor and the coastal wetlands and see Osprey, migrating shorebirds, herons and egrets, raptors, waterfowl, and the elusive clapper rail. The trip will remain on calm inland waters. Arrive by 9:45 am. Tickets are $43 per adult and $25 per child. Be sure to get your tickets in advance. A full refund is provided if you need to cancel up until the night before. Order tickets here: https://www.ospreycruise.com/home.html
Afterward, some of us may visit The Meadows, which is nearby, and do some birding there. All are welcome; you don't have to be a member of BCDC. Leader: John Zygmunt (610-986-4667). Photo by Adrian Binns.
From the website: "The Osprey has an open and enclosed viewing deck with sliding glass panoramic windows. She is very comfortable even on a cool breezy day. A restroom is aboard. We have extra binoculars including ZEISS demo optics to try out. Conveniently located in Cape May just across from the Lobster House at the Miss Chris Marina with plenty of free parking close to the boat."
