The Co-Conspirators perform folk/singer-songwriter music with elements of bluegrass, country, blues, gospel, and general roots music. With heavy emphasis on vocal harmonies, this duo has been compared to The Weavers, Ian and Sylvia Tyson and Richard and Linda Thompson. They perform a perfect mix of originals, traditional folk, and old-time-favourites covers. Canadian folk music legend Valdy said they sounds like they have been singing together their whole lives.
Described as modern day troubadours, The Co-Conspirators have spent the last 5 years performing at hundreds of house concerts, folk societies, festivals, seniors and community centres, bars, and restaurants across Canada, and are now spreading their wings to bring their songs to the US.
The Co-Conspirators have released 3 albums to date, "Shadowing the Organ Tuner, "The Unreliable Narrators", and their 3rd album, "Half a Tank of Gas and a Full Case of Beer" (a Fred Eaglesmith Tribute), was released in July 2023.
