Join us Sunday July 27th for some funky, psyched out jazz jams from the Daniel Villarreal Trio. Doors open at 4pm and music will be from 5pm to 7pm. This is an all ages event and Eleventh House will be serving beverages.

Since relocating to Philadelphia from Chicago in 2023, Villarreal has begun working with emerging Brazilian-American vibraphonist Victor Vieira-Branco and brilliant upright bassist John Moran. Vieira-Branco can be heard in Rob Mazurek’s Exploding Star Orchestra and in Chad Taylor’s Quintet, and leading his own group Bark Culture.
The group’s instant chemistry lead to 12 songs written within 2 days. A 3 week residency at Philly’s own Solar Myth served as a platform to shape and hone the group’s unique sense of groove and vision with the band. Together, Villarreal, Vieira-Branco, and Moran, leave a mark on Philadelphia with their sense of groove, melodicism, and fluidity, pulling from their heritage and beyond.
