Salamander Night Hike at Barfield Crescent Park

Get ready for an evening of discovery as we venture into the elusive world of salamanders! Join us for an evening hike to the vernal pool by the campground (0.8 mile hike) where we’ll search for these secretive amphibians, learn about their fascinating life cycles, habitats, and the important roles they play in our ecosystems. We will have headlamps for the hike, so wear sturdy shoes and be prepared to get a little muddy!
