In New York City, newly married Bella Manningham begins to question her sanity as gaslights flicker and objects mysteriously disappear. Her husband, Jack, insists she’s imagining things—but his charm masks a sinister agenda. As Bella teeters on the edge, a mysterious detective arrives, uncovering secrets buried in the house’s dark past. This taut psychological thriller explores manipulation, power, and the chilling effects of emotional abuse. Dietz's adaptation sharpens the suspense with a brisk pace and modern sensibility, breathing fresh life into this classic tale of deceit and resilience. Can Bella reclaim her reality before it’s too late?
