Open Class: Check PYC Out! (Grades 1-3 CENTRAL)

Pittsburgh Youth Chorus invites you to check us out! We have premier vocal training and performance opportunities for grades 1-12. PYC centers its work on the intangible benefits that music affords the human heart and the human spirit – integration, inspiration, an appreciation of beauty, and feelings of increased vitality and well-being.

Our Neighborhood Training Choirs are perfect for young singers developing their voices. We have 4 locations throughout the city- Shadyside, Allison Park, Coraopolis, Upper St. Clair - that meet on either Mondays, Tuesdays, or Wednesdays at 6:00PM. The class gives young people the opportunity to develop a healthy singing voice while:
-playing musical games
-moving to music
-playing simple instruments
-exploring their own creativity
