Author and Illustrator Event: Kid Edition

Looking for your next read? Midtown Global Market will be the perfect place during its free Authors & Illustrators book fair on Saturday, August 2, from noon to 3 p.m. hosted by artist Melodee Strong. This fun-filled afternoon will celebrate stories, art, and imagination!


The Market will be filled with books, authors, and literary fun with a focus on picture books through young adult books. It will feature local talent who create pictures books, chapter books, and young adult reads. This event can help encourage young readers as they discover new characters and have the chance to meet talented local authors and illustrators. The goal is to support Minnesota’s literary community as well as showcase a wide array of cultures.
